Desktop App v1.1

The blocker that knows
what you're really doing

Website blockers were built for people avoiding social media. This one was built for traders. It shuts down charts, brokers and every distraction on your machine — apps included — and it holds when you try to talk yourself out of it.

Block sites and apps, not just tabs

A browser extension only guards the browser it's installed in. The desktop app blocks at the machine level, so opening a different browser, or a native trading terminal, doesn't get you around it.

Websites

Blocked at the hosts file, so every browser on the machine is covered at once — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and any private window.

Desktop apps

Add as many as you want. While a block is running and ZERO TILT is open, those apps won't stay open — anything already running when the block starts gets closed.

Built for the hour that costs you money

Quitting doesn't unblock

Site blocks are written to the system and stay there if you close the app, or reboot. Rage-quitting ZERO TILT is not the escape hatch. (Keep it open and it closes blocked apps too.)

One tap, everything shuts

Panic button in the dock. When you're tilting you have about ten seconds of good judgement left — long enough to press one thing, not long enough to configure anything.

Deep-focus sessions

Clear the desk before the open. Silence the group chats during the session. Protect the hour you set aside for review, when everything else is louder.

Same account everywhere

Journal, streaks and block lists stay in sync with the web and mobile apps. Set a list up once, use it on every device.

Offline fallback

Bundled local files load if your connection drops. Review your journal even offline.

Harder to talk yourself out of

Start a timed block and it runs to the end. The trade you want to force at 2pm is the exact reason you set it at 9am.

System Requirements

macOS
macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later
Windows
Windows 10 (64-bit) or later
Storage
~200 MB free space

First launch

macOS: right-click the app and choose Open, then Open again. macOS shows a warning the first time because this build is signed with a Developer ID but not yet notarized by Apple. After that it opens normally.

Windows: if SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
