7. AI Coach Disclaimer
7.1 Nature of the AI Coach
Mika is an artificial intelligence feature powered by third-party AI technology (Anthropic's Claude). Mika is designed to help you reflect on your trading psychology, manage emotional responses such as tilt, revenge trading, and FOMO, and develop healthier trading habits. Mika offers general guidance on topics like emotional regulation, cognitive biases, and behavioral patterns in trading.
7.2 Not Financial Advice
Mika does not and will not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, trading signals, specific trade suggestions, or opinions on specific financial instruments, securities, or markets. Any discussion of trading concepts is limited to the psychological and behavioral aspects of trading. You should consult a qualified and licensed financial advisor before making any investment or trading decisions.
7.3 Not Therapy or Medical Advice
Mika is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are experiencing significant psychological distress, addiction (including gambling addiction), depression, anxiety, or any other mental health condition, please seek help from a licensed mental health professional. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
7.4 Accuracy and Limitations
While we strive to make Mika helpful and accurate, AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You should not rely on Mika's responses as the sole basis for any decisions. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided by Mika.
7.5 Your Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that any actions you take based on interactions with Mika are taken at your own risk and discretion. We disclaim all liability for any losses, damages, or adverse outcomes resulting from your reliance on Mika's responses.
8. Site Blocking Disclaimer
8.1 How Site Blocking Works
ZERO TILT includes a site-blocking feature designed to help you avoid distracting or triggering websites during trading or when you are experiencing an urge. Depending on the platform, this feature may operate by:
- Desktop (macOS): Modifying your system's hosts file (
/etc/hosts) to redirect blocked domains - Chrome Extension: Using browser extension APIs to intercept and block navigation to specified domains
- Safari Extension: Using Safari content blocker APIs to block specified domains
8.2 Consent to System Modifications
8.3 Risks and Limitations
You acknowledge and accept the following regarding the site-blocking feature:
- Modifications to the hosts file affect all applications and browsers on your computer, not just ZERO TILT
- The site-blocking feature may conflict with other software that modifies the hosts file, including VPNs, ad blockers, parental control software, or security tools
- In rare cases, improper modifications to the hosts file could affect system functionality or network connectivity
- The site-blocking feature is a self-help tool and is not foolproof; it can be bypassed or disabled by a knowledgeable user
- We are not responsible for any system issues, data loss, or other problems that may arise from the use of the site-blocking feature
8.4 Reversibility
All site-blocking changes made by ZERO TILT are reversible. You can disable site blocking at any time through the application settings, which will restore your hosts file (or browser extension rules) to their previous state. If you uninstall ZERO TILT, we recommend verifying that your hosts file has been restored to its default state.
